The Inchcape story started in 1847 and is a tale of a great commercial dynasty founded by four intrepid Scotsmen who dared to try something new and take a few risks along the way. They built their early business on delivering exactly what their customers wanted and being forward thinking when it came to looking after people.
This focus on people, service and innovation has survived for over 160 years and is the foundation upon which our company is built today. Currently, Inchcape is the world's largest independent international automotive retail group. An Inchcape dealership will sell a car somewhere in the world every two minutes! Operating in nearly 30 countries, Inchcape represents 18 brands and serve hundreds of thousands of customers across the world.

Following on very much from the original foundations of the company, our Honda Romford dealership is the first of the new premium experience centres in the UK - demonstrating our long term commitment to both Honda and the people of Essex. We understand that our customers have a vast choice in where to place their business and see it as our privilege to serve, and not the customers privilege to use us.

Green Principles
As you can imagine, with such a premium centre to operate from, we haven't forgotten about our responsibilities to the local and wider community. We recycle rainwater, use ground source heating and solar power to warm and cool our showroom, the lights in our offices go on and off when you walk in and out, and even the coffee you drink is Fair-trade. So, the more coffee you drink the more donations go to help charities via a scheme with our supplier.
